Independence Day is the perfect time to grill some tasty burgers. If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, try this mouth-watering Hawaiian Burger. It channels the beaches of Hawaii by mixing ground beef with teriyaki sauce, then topping it off with melted cheddar cheese, grilled pineapple, fresh lettuce, mayonnaise, and barbeque-teriyaki sauce. Cowabunga, Dude!

*1 ½ pounds (80% lean) ground beef

The Fourth of July is a celebration of the history of America. Along with the fireworks, the flag is central to the holiday. Kids will get a kick out of creating their own American flags. With a little lesson in history to accompany the flag-making project, you can bring a celebration to life. While these instructions use construction paper, you can use any material you have on hand.

It's almost Independence Day, and it's time to celebrate with friends and family. And what better way than to celebrate with food and games!
Here are a couple of games you can play with everyone, no matter their age.
Sidewalk Chalk
Give all participants a couple pieces of chalk and let their imaginations fly. Draw up a theme (patriotic, American symbols, etc) and have them draw it on the sidewalk. Best drawing wins. You can designate drawing spaces so no drawing overlaps another. Have categories for the game so that everyone's on equal footing, i.e., separate the adults from the kids. Or
